Question from melody: I have an origami model that says to use a 1.5:1 rectangle. I don't understand how to calculate the size of paper I need to use. Surely there is a formula to calculate this ratio? Thanks for your help. |

The ratio 1.5:1, which is read "1.5 to 1" means that the length is 1.5 times the width. So, for example if your paper is 2 inches in width then the length is 1.5 × 2 = 3 inches.
