Question from nicole, a student:
what is the name of a figure that has 2 sides that measure 25 feet each and 2 sides that measure 10 feet each?
Nicole,
That depends: are the long sides next to each other or opposite?
In one case it's called a "kite", in the other case a "parallelogram".
Draw one of each and try to see which name goes with which figure.
