The units can direct your calculation. I am going to work with time first. The car goes 60 miles per hour so how far does it go in 1 second?
There are 60 minutes in an hour so
There are 60 seconds in a minute so use this fact to convert 1 mile/minute to miles/second.
Finally use the conversion factor for converting miles to kilometres to convert miles/second to kilometres/second.
When you are finished you can check your answer by typing 60 miles per hour in kilometres per second into Google.
