Hi Tamara, It takes 8 eights to make 1, and then you have 0.25 more. But 0.25 is one quarter and there are 2 eights in a quarter so there arre 8 + 2 = 10 eights in 1.25. If you look carefully at what I did you will see that my calculation was 1.25 × 8 = 10. I hope this helps, | ||||||||||||
