Question from Teresa, a parent:

Write an equation in slope-intercept form that has a horizontal intercept of -7/3 and a vertical intercept of -7/9

Teresa,

If the horizontal intercept is -7/3 then the point (-7/3, 0) is on the line. What is another point on the line? Can you write the equation of a line passing through given points.

Harley
