Question from Theresa, a student:

Find the area of a triangle by first finding the height. base30ft hypotenuse 50ft

Theresa,

Since you call one of the sides of the triangle a hypotenuse I assume it is a right triangle. You can then use Pythagoras theorem to find the length of the third side, which is the height of the triangle.
