Question from tomas, a student: what is the two consecutive numbers with a product of 4160? |
Hi Tomas,
I would suggest "guess and check" as a method to solve this problem.
The two numbers are close to being the same number. If they were the same the question would be "The product of a number with itself is 4160. What is the number?" The answer would be √4160. Thus my first "guess" is that the two numbers you want are close to √4160.
