Question from tony, a student:

y = 1.2x - 32.7,

y = -0.7x + 46.15

can you please solve this for me? i am not able to figure it out... thank you

tony

Hi Tony,

If y is equal to 1.2x - 32.7 and y is also equal to -0.7x + 46.15 then 1.2x - 32.7 = -0.7x + 46.15.

Can you solve this equation for x?

Penny
