five years ago, a father was 3times as old as is son, now their combines age's amount 110 years. what is the present age of the father?

Yomi,

Suppose the father's age now is f and the son's age now is s. You then know that

f + s = 110.

What was the father's age 5 years ago?
What was the father's age 5 years ago?

At that time the father's age was 3 times the son's age. Write this in equation form. Solve the two equations for f and s.
