Question from zahir, a parent:

i want to ask one question, need i get the cross section of cylinder to calculate volume of cylinder

Zahir,

The volume of a cylinder is the area of the base times the height, where the height is measured perpendicular to the base. So, in particular, if the base is a circle then the area of the base is π r2 where r is the radius of the circle.

If this doesn't answer your question please write back,
