Question from ali, a student:

How do you convert zectometres to yoctometres

Ali,

Do you mean "zeptometres" (10-21 m)? If so, a yoctometre is 10-24 m and the answer is "multiply by 1000"

I understand that there is a grassroots campaign to add "hella-" as the SI prefix for 1027. Presumably then "hello-" for 10-27? Personally I favor the earlier proposal for:

10-36: groucho- 1036: groucha-
10-33: chico- 1033: chica-
10-30: gummo- 1030: gumma-
10-27: harpo- 1027: harpa-

Good Hunting!
