Question from brahmaji, a student:
0 7 26 63 _ 215 342 fill the blank? find the missing number

one way to start: look at how fast they grow. Do they grow about as fast as the sequence of successive squares (1,4,9,16,25,36,49...)?
Cubes? Powers of 2? Powers of 3?

Then when you have a good guess see how you would modify it to get the actual sequence.

Good Hunting!
