Question from Brandon, a student:

Trevor swims jogs 3 days and swims every 4 days. How often does he jog and swim on the same day

Hi Brandon,

If Trevor jogs every 3 days, then he jogs on day 3, day 6, day 9, etc. In other words, every day that would be numbered as a multiple of 3.

If Trevor swims every 4 days, then he swims on day 4, day 8, day 12, etc. In other words, every day that would be numbered as a multiple of 4.

How would the days he did both be numbered?

Cheers, Leeanne
