Question from Carol, a student:

A rectangular box with a volume 0.75 cubic meters, Length 1.5
meters and width 0.4 meters. What is the height of this box?

Hello Carol,

The formula for the volume of a box is

Volume = Length x Width x Height

So, if you plug in the values you have for Volume, Length, and Width you get,

0.75 = 1.5 x 0.4 x Height

Solve for Height.
