I have a new ideal and need to know how much fabric will I need to order.

My design is 16'6" long, 10' wide and 24" tale. How much fabric will I need for the

Top, Bottom and the Walls?

Thanks

Coach,

This is my sketch of what you have (not to scale).

sketch

I expect that you order fabric by the square foot so I would first convert all the measurements to feet. Thus the length is 16.5 feet, the width 10 feet and the height 2 feet.

The top and bottom each have an area of 16.5 × 10 = 165 square feet.
The two ends each have an area of 10 × 2 = 20 square feet.
The two sides each have an area of 16.5 × 2 = 33 square feet.

I hope this helps,
Penny
