Question from guadalupe: how many 16 x 16 inch square tiles fit into a 10 x 10 foot space? |
Guadalupe,
One foot is 12 inches so the room is 120 inches by 120 inches. 120/16 = 7.5 so 7 × 7 = 49 tiles will fit on the floor.
This leaves a stip uncovered. If the tiles can be cut in half and both halves match then you will need 8 more tiles. If you can't cut them in half and use the othe half you will need 15 more tiles.
