find the lenght of the hypotenuse of a triangle with legs of 12in. and 17in. round to the nearest hundredth

Hello,

Based on the information given we assume the triangle is right angled. If it were otherwise, we would need more information to solve.) Therefore we can use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve for the hypotenuse when the legs are 12 and 17 inches respectively.
