(24x3)+(7x8)-(20/5)+(4x7)
Thought I had the answer but the form says no. Could you solve it for me please.

Hi Marilyn,

You need to perform the operations inside the parentheses first. Hence I get

(24 x 3) + (7 x 8) - (20/5) + (4 x 7)
=72 + 56 - 4 + 28

At this point I would work from left to right.

72 + 56 = 128
128 - 4 = 124
124 + 28 = 152

So my answer is 152.
