Question from Morgan, a student:

find the circumference of a circle with radius 8.
im having trouble i just don't understand. thanks for your help i really do appreciate it.

Morgan,

The circumference of a circle is the perimeter of the circle, the distance around the circle. For and circle the circumference is π times the diameter where π is approximately 3.1416. The diameter is twice the radius so the circumference can be written as 2 × π × r where r is the radius.
