Question from Peter, a parent: I am working on a 19 week golf schedule with 24 golfers, and I would like to know how to make up six foursomes each week without having a player paired with the same golfers. |

The short answer is that you can't. Any such schedule will have duplicate pairs. Try taking a look at this article: http://www.maa.org/editorial/mathgames/mathgames_08_14_07.html. There is a schedule there that can help you.
