My question is: In yards what is the perimeter of a piece
of land totaling 6.2 acres. This land is a perfect square.

Hello Richard,

Since an acre equals 4840 square yards,
and you have 6.2 acres;
that is: 4840 x 6.2 = 30 008 square yards.
To find the dimensions of your square, simply solve for the square root of 30 008 square yards.
