Question from sagir, a student:

how to find the area of semi circle?

Sagir,

You need to know the area of a circle. The expression is

area = π r2 where r is the radius of the circle and π is approximately 3.1416.

A semicircle is half a circle so the area of a semicircle of radius r is half the area of a circle of radius r.
