Question from sally, a parent: If my goal is to raisel $300 and I have only raised $240 what fraction of my goal has been raised |
Sally,
If you had raised $150 then you would have raised 1/2 of your goal since $150/$300 = 1/2.
If you had raised $100 then you would have raised 1/3 of your goal since $100/$300 = 1/3.
You raised $240 so you raised $240/$300 of your goal. Simplify this fraction.
