Question from Stanley, a student:
What is a three consecutive digit number like 5,6,7 ,
which is two less than a cube and two more than a square?

Stanley,

Make a list of cubes up to 103. Which of them are two
more than a number of the sort you describe? Does the square-plus-two property hold as well?
