Question from Andy:

If i was traveling at 40 mph for 6 minutes, what is my distance in miles?

Hi Andy,

There are 60 minutes in an hour and hence travelling at 40 miles per hour is travelling 40 miles in 60 minutes. Thus in one minute you travel one-sixtieth of 40 miles or 40/60 miles.
