Question from Andy: If i was traveling at 40 mph for 6 minutes, what is my distance in miles? |
Hi Andy,
There are 60 minutes in an hour and hence travelling at 40 miles per hour is travelling 40 miles in 60 minutes. Thus in one minute you travel one-sixtieth of 40 miles or 40/60 miles.
