solve the equation

ln12x = 6

Thank you
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,

For the equation $\ln (12 \times x) = 6$ you should first use the property of logarithms that says

\[\ln (a \times b) = \ln (a) + \ln (b)\]

Next rearrange the equation so that the left side is $\ln (x)$ and then apply the exponential function to each side.
