Question from Walter, a parent: How many linear feet of strip of land 15 feet wide does it take to make 1 acre? |
Walter,
There are 43,560 square feet in an acre so if your 1 acre strip of land is L feet long then
15 × L = 43,560 square feet,
and hence L = 43,560/15 feet.
