Question from amanda, a student: At a recent school dance it was observed that there was a 3 to 1 ratio of girls to boys. If 204 students attended the dance, how many boys, and how many girls were there? |
Hi Amanda,
This was actually a dinner dance. Around the dance floor were tables, each with 3 girls and 1 boy. How many tables were there? How many boys were there? How many girls.
