Question from David, a student:

What is the prime factor form of 7/5?

David,

I would have said that was the prime factor form. It's in lowest terms and each number is (though trivially) fully factored.

To take a less trivial example, $\large \frac{24}{14}$ would become $\large \frac{3 \times 2^3}{7}.$

Good Hunting!
