Question from Don, a student:

How many gallons of water do you need to fill a 22 feet long and 13 feet wide rectangular pool if it is 3 feet deep on one end and 7 feet deep on the other end?

Hi Don,

Look at my answer to a previous question to see how to calculate the volume of the pool in cubic feet. Then use the fact that there are 7.48 US gallons in a cubic foot.
