Question from jordan, a student:

pizzaz pizza sells a small pizza for $10.99.it has a diameter 10 inches. What is the price per square inch ?

Hi Jordan,

If the pizza has a diameter of 10 inches then it has a radius of 5 inches. What is it's area in square inches? Dividing $\$10.99$ by the area in square inches will give you dollars per square inch.
