Question from KiMesha, a parent: 81+8 to the 3 power |
Hi KiMesha,
If the expression is written $81 + 8^3$ then you calculate the $8^3$ first by $8^3 = 8 \times 8 \times 8$ and then add $81$ to the result.
If the expression is written $(81 + 8)^3$ then you first add $81$ an $8$ to get $89$ and then calculate $89^3.$
