Question from lizlurie, a parent:

i am looking at purchasing a five acre plot but we can make the dimensions in any direction we want. if the width of the property is 309.55 and we went straight back from that 5 acres what would be the depth in feet of the property????? thanks so much!!!

Hi,

I am assuming that the dimension $309.55$ is in feet. There are $43 560$ square feet in an acre so that gives $43 560 \times 5 = 217 800$ square feet in five acres. To determine the depth of the property divide $217 800$ by $309.55.$
