Question from mary, a student:

I have a scalene triangle and the base is 33m, side is 52m and the unparallel side is 25m but i drew a dotted line down and that s 20m

how do i figure the area?

thanks

Hi Mary,

The area of the triangle is half the base times the height and the base is 33 meters so if you know the height is 20 meters you can calculate the area.
