Hi Matt, Do you have a box in the shape of a cube that measures 16 inches on each side? If so the volume of the box is $15 \times 16 \times 16 = 4096$ cubic inches. There are 231 cubic inches in a US gallon so this box contains $\frac{4096}{231} = 17.7$ gallons. Please write back if I have misinterpreted your question. | ||||||||||||
