Question from muhammad, a student:

How can i construct a pie chart on the following of the combination of students:-
Sos 50, Crs 25, Eng 100, Iss 75, Geo 150, Hist 10

Hi Muhammad,

I am not sure what the labels are but I expect no student is being counted more than once so the total number of students is 410. If you placed the students shoulder to shoulder, in their groups around the circumference of a circle then, since there are 360 degrees in the circle each student would occupy $\large \frac{360}{410}= 0.898$ degrees. Hence the 50 Sos students would require $0.898 \times 50$ degrees. Continue to complete the pie chart.
