Question from Steve:

We will have 36 golfers playing 4 rounds of golf and would like to have different foursomes each round. In other words, no player will play with another more than once.

Hi Steve,

There is a web page created by Meinolf Sellmann at Brown University called The Social Golfer Problem that will answer your question. In the first table on this page look in the "9 groups" row and "4 golfers per group" column. You will find a schedule for 6 rounds that meets your requirements.
