Question from Tobby, a student:

A=1/2 solve for h.area of a rectangle with b and h

Hi Tobby,

The area of a rectangle is the base times the height, or written as an equation

\[A = b \times h.\]

You know that the ares is one half so

\[\frac12 = b \times h.\]

To solve for $h$ dovide both sides of the equation by $b$ to get

\[\frac{1}{2b} = h.\]
