Question from Able, a student: How do you calculate using BEDMAS 9,10,6,8,4 to equal 10 |
Hi Able,
I really dislike the term BEDMAS. It always makes me think it is some incantation you have to perform to creates the magic spell that allows you to do mathematics. I think the question should say
Write a mathematical expression that uses the numbers 9, 10, 6, 8, and 4 that evaluates to 10.
I can help some with this. Use 9 - 4 = 5 and see if you can use the remaining numbers to obtain 2.
