Question from ange, a student:

how many six digits numbers permutations can be formed with the set {1-49} if no digit is used twice in each permutation??

Hi Ange,

If you really mean "permutation" then I suggest you look at my response to an earlier question. If this is a question about the 6/49 lottery then you should be looking at combinations rather than permutations. If this is true then I suggest you look at this response and then this.
