Question from Bonnie:

My number has 3 digits. My number is not a multiple of 100. My number is a multiple of 50. My number is a factor of 1000. What is my number?

Hi Bonnie,

If it is a multiple of 50 what can it end in (there is more than one possibility.) If you're not sure try experimenting: 1x50, 2x50, 3x50 ...
till you see a pattern.

If it is NOT a multiple of 100 which of these are still possible?
Write a list of the possibilities. (Remember that except for 0 itself, a number doesn't start with 0.)

Which of these is a factor of 1000?

Good Hunting!
