Question from Katy:

If 3 acres of land were a complete square, how many feet would be on each side?

Hi Katy,

One acre is 43560 square feet. Just ask Google. Type 1 acre in square feet into google.

How many square feet is 3 acres?

If a square has side length $L$ feet then its area is $L^2$ square feet. What is the side length of a square with area 3 acres?
