Question from Mr.:

My property is 196 feet wide an I own 2 1/2 acres how many feet in depth is it

Follow this link to find out how many square feet are in an acre.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acre

Multiply that number by 2.5 to determine how many square feet are therefore the surface area of your property.

If your property is rectangular then divide the result by 196 to find out the depth of the property.

If your property is not rectangular then there may be other dimensions to figure out.

Cheers,
Dr. L. Dame
