Question from Russ: we have 20 golfers over 5 days, with 4 people per foursome which makes 5 groups each day. I would like to each person to play with everyone at least once if possible. Do you have a formula for this? |

Not all pairs can play together over 5 days. There is a good schedule in the archive, where no 2 players are together more than once mathcentral.uregina.ca/QQ/database/QQ.09.07/h/joe4.html. It is the best you can do.
