How many different 4- number combinations from 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 with 2 out of the 4 odd and 2 out of the 4 even, with no numbers repeating. Thanks

Hi Scott,

There are 5 even digits and 5 odd digits in your list.

Select two even digits. How many way can you select 2 items from 5 items?

Select two odd digits. How many way can you select 2 items from 5 items?

In how many ways can you select two even digits and two odd digits?

Now that you have the four digits selected does it matter in what order you present them? If so then in how many ways can you order 4 digits?
