Question from bigdog: I need help setting up a 12 team (3 flights with 3 teams in each flight) 15 week league play schedule. Each team must play teams in there perspective flight twice during the 15 week season. |
Bigdog,
I'm assuming 3 flights with 4 teams per flight. It takes 6 weeks for each team to play the other three in their flight twice.
1: 1v2, 3v4
2: 1v3, 2v4
3: 1v4, 2v3
4, 5, 6: repeat the above in some order.
In the remaining weeks do you want teams in different flights to play each other? Each has 6 possible opponents, so it will take at least 6 weeks for them to play each other once, and at least 12 weeks for them to play each other twice.
