Question from khushboo, a student: A farmer sowed wheat and paddy in two fields of total area 5000 sq.m. Write a linear equation and draw a graph to represent the same? |

This is a strangely worded question but I expect that what is expected is something like this.
Let $x$ be the number of sq. m. sowed in wheat and $y$ be the number of sq. m. sowed in paddy. Then you know that $x + y = 5000.$ Solve this equation for $y$ and plot its graph.
For what values of $x$ does this graph represent the situation described in the problem?
