in the expression below, what number is the coefficient of y? y2+3y+4

Hi Kim,

I want to look at a slightly different expression, $5 y^2 + 8 y - 12.$ This expression has 3 terms, $5 y^2, 8 y$ and $-12.$ The coefficient of $y^2$ is $5,$ the coefficient of $y$ is $8$ and the constant term is $-12.$
