Question from Prince, a student:

What is the exponential form of 1/square root of 6v?

Hi,

There are two uses of exponents you need to use here.

The first is fractional exponents. For example $x^{1/2} = \sqrt{x}$ and $x^{1/3} = \sqrt[3]{x}$ or in general if $p$ is a positive integer then $x^{1/p} = \sqrt[p]{x}.$

The other use of exponents is negative exponents, $x^{-y} = \frac{1}{x^y}.$

Can you complete your problem now?
