Question from sana, a student:

if the length is given 70 m and the breadth is given as 40 m find the perimeter of the rectangle

Hi Sana,

The perimeter of a rectangle is the distance all the way around the rectangle. If you start at one corner, walk along the length then turn and walk the width turn again and walk the length in the other direction again and finally turn again and walk to where you started, how far have you walked?
